Yoga & Health Coach & Indian Head Massage

Biography

I was born in Sweden and was always drawn to the alternative traditions. I first tried yoga after my daughter was born in 2002.

I started practising yoga regular in 2005 and found the Iyengar yoga method in 2009, I have since then been practising and I just love the way it makes me feel.

In 2014 I got my teacher qualification and since then I have been teaching.

I am very passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga as it has had tremendous benefits in my own life.

I then continued to study to become a Holistic Health Coach and also in Classical Indian Head Massage.

Iyengar Yoga focuses on alignment and precision. It is suitable for everyone from beginners to more advanced. It is extremely beneficial for those who play sports and those who have past injuries. This discipline is slightly more physical than conventional yoga classes, whilst also creating an overall experience for the whole mind, body and soul. It can be described as a type of meditation in movement.

When you do yoga in alignment you force the weak muscle to strengthen and the tight muscle to stretch.

I also offer one to one Health Coaching sessions. I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods.

As a Holistic Health Coach, I work with my clients to help them create happy, healthy lives in a way that is flexible, fun, and free of denial and discipline. By working together, we can discover the food and lifestyle choices that best support you. Making gradual, lifelong changes enables you to reach your current and future health goals.

I am also trained in, and offer, Classical Indian Head Massage, which may help with the following:

* Aids in the relief of migraines. Often tension in the mid back, neck and head can lead to headaches and migraines.

* Promotes Hair Growth.

* Stimulates Lymphatic Drainage.

* Relieves insomnia and fatigue.

* Relieves symptoms of anxiety and depression.

* Renews energy levels.

* Boost memory capabilities.

* Mental and emotional stress.
