Sarah Mann

Adult Psychotherapist and Counsellor

Biography

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist offering a calm, supportive and confidential space where you can explore what is happening in your life and feel genuinely understood.

My approach is integrative and person-centred, shaped around your story, your pace and your needs. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to help you feel supported and to create space for reflection and clarity.

With over 30 years’ nursing experience supporting children and adults with intellectual disabilities and complex needs, I have deep awareness of neurodivergence and the importance of seeing the whole person — their strengths, their ways of communicating, and the unique lens through which they experience the world.

I support people through life’s turning points and transitions — times when life changes in ways we may not have expected or feel prepared for. This might include illness, cancer, bereavement, relationship changes, menopause, changes in caring or family roles, or simply reaching a point where life no longer feels quite the same.

These transitions can bring anxiety, stress, low mood, burnout or feeling overwhelmed. Therapy can offer a place to pause, make sense of what is happening and reconnect with yourself as you navigate what comes next.
