Biography

Caroline is a fully accredited counsellor, educated to BA (hons) standard.
She has worked in Ireland in a family run practice over the past four years.  During this time, she has helped adults from diverse backgrounds, including clients from marginalised groups.  Caroline places emphasis on providing a safe non-judgemental space for client, building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, warmth, empathy and understanding.
Caroline has worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem issues and trauma.  She uses an holistic approach, including breathwork, meditation, body scans and grounding techniques to complement therapy.  She believes in an integrative approach using CBT, DBT, Choice theory and mindfulness techniques, tailoring therapy to clients’ needs.
Having a keen interest in mental health, she worked with Aware for two years, supporting clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.  She has assisted clients experiencing suicidal ideation and self-harm, helping them to make sense of and find meaning in their lives.
Caroline supports clients to overcome life’s challenging times and to uncover their truths buried within, to reach their full potential.  She believes in a collaborative approach, working together with clients to achieve their goals. Caroline aims to help improve clients lives so they can live as their authentic selves.
